In February, AMRV RC&D Council traveled with students from their Next Generation Ag Program to Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky to expose students to various aspects of the industry and help them understand the diverse range of career opportunities available.

The program was supported by the National Association of RC&D Councils and USDA-NRCS. Grants and funding like this are critical in promoting and expanding agricultural education programs, and it’s fantastic to see these resources being put to good use.

By providing students with these opportunities, it is helping to cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders and professionals who can help to drive the industry forward and meet the growing demand for food production and sustainability.
