Congratulations to Charles Holmes for being awarded the 2022 Hugh Hammond Bennett National Producer Award!
He has been named the national winner of the Conservation Producer 2022 Hugh Hammond Bennett Award for Conservation Excellence for outstanding conservation efforts on his farm, Holmestead Company in Marion, Alabama. Charles and his wife, Jenny, now with their three sons (William, Webb, and Cooper), have managed the farm since 1972.
Charles has served with RC&D for over 20 years. He is currently the ALA-TOM RC&D Council Vice Chairman. Charles has exemplified outstanding service through development and implementation of sound conservation planning and other conservation techniques.
