What We Do
Since 1989, the NARCDC has been successful in helping RC&D Councils address community needs like job creation, food insecurity, utility access, housing access, agriculture education, technology access, and clean energy.
We help our members by offering or connecting them to:
Legislative Information
We provide press releases, fact sheets, and updated information on current events, legislation, and funding issues that affect RC&D Councils. We are the voice of RC&D Councils in Washington, D.C., and we will work to ensure their voice is heard.
Grants
We connect members to grant opportunities via grant searching tools. We also obtain and manage grants for our Members. Occasionally, we request proposals for available grants; please see our Funding Opportunities page for current request for proposals.
Training Programs
We host a variety of training opportunities. These programs vary and are sometimes offered for a limited time or are available only to members. We notify email subscribers of new training opportunities as soon as they become available, so make sure to connect with us!
Past training programs have included:
- Director’s Training – non-profit management
- Two Cents Worth – Fiduciary Responsibilities of a Board for Project Planning and Administration
- Achieving a Sense of Community – Volunteer Outreach
