Dick Wood - New England RC&D Association
Dick Wood has a long and distinguished association with the Resource Conservation and Development Program. Since his retirement a number of years ago, he has never been busier with ”grassroots volunteerism”. Dick has transferred his dedication for the RC&D program to the region and nation level as well. Dick has been involved with the Maine Association of RC&D Areas since its inception in 1985, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board. He has been equally involved with the New England Association of RC&D Areas, served as President of the New England Association for 8 years. His term as President of the New England Association earned him a place on the National Association of RC&D Councils board. He continues to represent the Council of Governments on the Threshold to Maine Council, and has been a successful and active liaison for over 18 years. His local, regional, and national involvement energizes the RC&D program and makes it what it is today. We are all very fortunate to have Dick Wood involved with RC&D. He makes a difference!
