Glen Jobe - Western RC&D Association
Mr. Jobe became involved in the world of conservation when he worked with the Soil Conservation Service in engineering ponds for ducks and geese on a low spot at his ranch. Glen believed that the RC&D helps prepare today’s ranchers and farmers face today and tomorrows issues and pressures. Mr. Jobe became actively involved with the Western Association of RC&D Councils in 1982 and held the positions of first and second Vice President of the Region. He has also been active with the North Cal-Neva RC&D since 1971. Mr. Jobe was chairman of the North Cal-Neva RC&D Council from 1973 to 1980 and again from 1988 to 1991. In addition, Glen was one of the Founding members of the National Association of RC&D Councils and had served on the Board of Directors.
