Donna Hunter - Mid Atlantic RC&D Association
Donna Hunter was the Director of Education for the National Association of Resource Conservation & Development Councils from 20xx -2010. Her dedication to the program began a long time ago. As an Earth Team Volunteer and RC&D Council Member, she devoted countless hours to improving her communities. With a Bachelor Degree in Communications and Master Degrees in Education and Communications, Donna has designed and taught for both the private and public sectors, but has always declared her favoritism for the best program in the country – RC&D.
Donna Hunter’s service to Resource Conservation and Development began in her home state of West Virginia in 1981 and quickly expanded nationally. During her service with RC&D, Donna has served as a Council President, WV State RC&D President, Mid Atlantic RC&D Regional President, member of the National Board, Legislative Liaison and Director of Communications. Her NARC&DC staff responsibilities have included communications, program delivery, website design and delivery and design and delivery of training programs.
Beginning with her work as a council member in West Virginia, Mrs. Hunter consistently used her corporate and Non-profit training skills to strengthen RC&D. Donna’s forte is her tenacious problem solving and ability to motivate those around her to act. She emphasizes Board member responsibilities, and RC&D has benefited at every level from Donna’s training expertise in all aspects of those responsibilities.
